When attorneys Mike Lyons and Pat Hughes commissioned in the Air Force as JAG officers, they raised their hands and committed to our core values—integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do. Their active duty days have past but the attorneys continue to live by these values as founding members of Patriots Law Group of Lyons & Hughes, P.C., a law firm focused on serving the needs of the military community at Joint Base Andrews and in the DC metro area. 

“With the recent requirements to wear face masks on base and in the community, we knew there would be a need on base and we could do our part for service members and their families during this difficult time” said co-founder Mike Lyons. Agreeing, fellow co-founder Pat Hughes said “Andrews is our community and we are in this together.  We've been there and understand that working from home isn't possible for many service members and if we can donate these masks to help keep our force and their family members healthy while they keep America safe, that's what we are going to do.”

The firm teamed up with Cloe's Quilts owned by Sarah Roselli who is a Naval Reservist and Naval aviator spouse to acquire 100 uniform compliant fabric face masks. Mrs. Roselli, of Florida, responded to the firm's request for a small business to make the masks and within 24 hours she started sewing at lightning speed. All 100 masks arrived at Patriots Law Group this week. Ms. Roselli has been using her skills as a quilter to make masks for local health care workers and Navy squadrons in Florida.
