HOT JOB OPPORTUNITY! Our veteran-owned law firm in Prince George's County, Maryland is seeking a Senior Family Law Attorney for *immediate* hire.  We were founded by two former JAGs and operate a niche litigation practice representing servicemembers and their families across Maryland, D.C., and Virginia.  Our practice areas include litigation, divorce & custody, contracts, employment law (EEOC & MSPB), courts-martial & appeals, military administrative discipline issues, officer grade determinations, and security clearance & DOHA appeals.

We are currently seeking a motivated and highly experienced Senior Family Law Attorney with a 6-10 years of legal practice experience for our Camp Springs (Joint Base Andrews), Maryland location (25-minute commute from Alexandria, VA and downtown D.C.).  Must be licensed to practice in Maryland; admission to DC and/or VA a plus. This position requires substantial litigation experience, strong persuasive writing skills, a minimum of 6 years of litigation experience and ownership in handling cases independently from A-Z, appearing in court alone, and managing support staff.

Our Senior Family Law Attorney will perform all aspects of litigation including eDiscovery, depositions, motions practice, hearing preparation and trial, legal research, drafting motions and other filings, drafting demand letters, assisting in trial preparations, conducting consultations, appearing in court proceedings, and making a difference.  The opportunity is right for someone interested in learning how to grow and develop a family law practice group.

We need an attorney who is prepared to tackle difficult assignments and is not afraid of being challenged or working independently.

We are an ambitious firm. Please be ready to learn, act professionally, be punctual, engaging, well-spoken, well-written, hard-working, and have a sense of humor.

To be considered, please include a resume, writing sample, and verification of MD license.

Compensation: Salary: $85,000-$125,000, productivity bonus, 401k, PTO, and license reimbursement.
